Your strategic partner
Creators
first.
We're obsessed with the creator, period.
- The whole person
- their dreams for the future
- their goals
- and what they need right this second
Whatever the project, we build the plan to get it made, get it out, and find its people.
Meredith Barnes
Meredith Barnes is the founder of Queen Mab Media. She spent fifteen years in book publishing doing promotion, strategy, and publicity for literary agencies and publishing houses, including Soho Press and HarperCollins. Working across so many positions in the business taught her how to empathize with her partners and strategize collaboratively, no matter which side of the contract she is on.
In 2022 she left publishing (kind of, see below) and became a podcast producer. Her work has grown into comprehensive content strategy and production, specializing in podcasts. Her production work includes Next Question with Katie Couric, Just B with Bethenny Frankel, Our Skin with Holly Frey, The Blind Spot with Aditi Nerurkar, Levels to This with Sheryl Swoopes and Terrika Foster-Brasby, and many others.
She also independently produces Our Best Shot, a vaccine podcast meant to start conversations and end fights, hosted by two wonderful professors. The show uses the story of how we eradicated smallpox to answer some of the biggest questions about vaccines today. It's for anyone who has ever felt like it's not okay to ask questions.
She is also a partner at Vox Populi Productions, a full-service podcast and multimedia production company, and the co-founder, with Ayanna Coleman, of Next Chapter AI, which helps book publishers adopt AI ethically. Next Chapter AI hosted the Human-Aligned & Ethical AI in Publishing Summit, a free three-day virtual event with more than fifteen speakers from publishing, communications, law, audio, and AI strategy.
Queen Mab Media exists to level the playing field between creators and the industries that buy their work. We aim to be a partner who gives straight answers, documents everything, and cares about the person as much as the project.
Your work is an asset. We treat it like one.
Every creative project can be a business. The trick is making it a solid and sustainable one. We help you find the best path to market for your work and plan for every format, right, and revenue stream it can support.
